What is it?
Although the name has the word “cool” in it, the similarity to CoolSculpting stops there. This body-contouring device is FDA-cleared to help strengthen and tone muscles— hence the “tone” part of the name.
How does it work?
CoolTone works by using magnetic muscle stimulation (MMS). Simply put, the applicator relies on electromagnetic energy shot into your muscles to cause involuntary contractions. The body’s natural response to this is to strengthen the muscle underneath the area being treated. Those looking for more muscle definition can rely on CoolTone to give them an additional boost.

Am I a good candidate?
The best candidate for CoolTone is someone already well within their ideal body fat range. Since the device is simply helping you tone up and add muscle, if you’re looking to lose fat, it may be best to start with CoolSculpting and work your way to CoolTone.
